Hello Experts,

We have a requirement to integrate SAP Portal(Portal 7.31) in SharePoint.I have been using SharePoint's out of the box webpart ,Pageviewer which is similar to Portal's URL iview.

Portal 7.31 already provides interop desktop,so now it easier to integration.Integration works fine with Classic Frame work,

but when I try using AJAX framework there is a problem ,with Top level navigation

No Roles (tabs)shows up,so there is nothing to navigate only landing page shows up.

How to make this compatible to integrate with SAP Portal's AJAX framework with SharePoint

Thanks,

Twisha

HI Tisha,

Please compare of the Main Rules of both system the one with

Ajax framework page and the one with classic framework page.

PLease navigate to System Administration -> System Configuration

Portal Display -> Desktop Display Rules

Navigate in the content catalouge to

Portal Content ->Portal Administrators -> Super Administrators

Right Click on Master Rules Collection -> Open -> Rule collection

Also, you can refer to this SAP Note 1535174. - Ajax Framework Page, Upgrade, Migration, Portal

Please let me know if the issue is resolved and also reward points.

Thanks.

Hello Nayeem,

Thanks for your reply.

But this is not related to rule collection.

Rule collection decides who is going to see what desktop depending on the url/user/role etc.

I am trying to integrate SAP Portal with SharePoint.Classic framework works fine but not Ajax framework, keeping same desktop only changing frameworks.

Need help how to integrate AJAX enabled SAP Portal with Sharepoint.

Thanks,

Tisha

SAP Portal inside Sharepoint with out User admin, content admin etc tabs(roles)

SAP Portal standalone with all tabs.
