XMLForms saves link to KM with absolute path

Hi all,

I see some strange behavior in saving XMLForms.

I have created a custom WDJ which creates an XMLForms document with attachments and embedded images (both stored in KM) and the links to these resources are saved with a relative path, i.e. "/irj/go/km/docs/documents/images/myimage.jpg"

This works perfect, and these generated XMLForms documents are being displayed correctly.

However, if a user decides to edit the XMLForms document afterwards and subsequently saves the modified article, all relative links are changed to its absolute location, i.e. "http://my.domain.com/irj/go/km/docs/documents/images/myimage.jpg".

Is there any way I can restrict using the absolute path, or not touching URL's in XMLForms at all?

Hello Robin,

This was a known issue which was documented in SAP Note 1413223. You will need to regenerate the XFB projects in XML Forms Builder for this to take effect.
