Hello,

this is a bug in SAP GUI for Java 7.30 rev 4, which unfortunately has not been detected during testing.

Please refer to SAP note 1918326 for a workaround until a fix is available.

Best regards

Hello Diogo

The issue should not occur in rev3 of 7.30

Hi Diogo,

I've found an exact solution for this Issue and also works for me,

Here's the procedure,

1. Create an empty text file in any folder location ex: sapgui.txt located in C:\sapgui\sapgui.txt

Paste this path C:\sapgui\sapgui.txt under message server & router and click apply

Please let me know if there any issues.

Regards,

Eugene

Thanks for finding the appropriate SAP Note. In my case, following the 2nd suggestion in SAP Note "1918326 - 7.30rev4: Error in opening the connection dialog!" solved the issue. For reference, I am running Fedora 19 (linux) with the Java version of SAP Gui 7.30 rev 4.

This is quite the bug in a released revision of SAP Gui. I hope rev 5 comes out soon, otherwise this version should be pulled by SAP so folks download rev 3 instead.
