Copy B1 user authorizations

does anyone know if there is any easy way to copy the user authorizations from one company to another or to export user authorizations?

Hi Gareth,

try to use Copy Express ADDON. You can copy User Authorisation from a company db to an other.

I found sometime a strange behaviour but it works.

Authorisations will not copy with copy express

Authorizations can be copied with Copy Express in general!

For "System permissions" you have to keep 2 things in mind:

a) You must exclude super users from the copy process.

b) There are authorizations that are not covered (mostly in the Inventory and Service area); check the DI API documentation for SetSystemPermission method of the SBObob object vs. the authorizations you need...

"User Authorizations" / additional authorizations should be copied entirely.

I suggest that you check with SAP Support in case it wouldn't work properly.
