Hi experts,

We are getting this error when try to Open Bex connection from a blank document.

It seems that there is something weird on the connection and we get timeou/errort:

Hi Sargan,

Below sap note helped in my case for XI 3.1 installed on Unix - AIX platform:

1417326 - The RAS server doesn't start anymore and generates core dumps

Not sure about your BO server platform details, please check if applicable.

Hi Arun,

The server is BO 4.0 enterprise as well dasboard 4.0.

We have done some traces from client and from server but those don't help us .

Please advice.

It would be best to ensure that BW / Dashboards / BI 4 are in compatible versions.

I believe you would have tried to reinstall DD. If not try to re-install the same.

I would like to know what tracing was performed. Do look into the APS traces.

The KB seems that was the issue but we haven't any folder  "E:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm\bin..\bin"
