How to delete Employee master data in SAP B1?

Can anyone tell me how to delete records from employee master data?

Hi Nabil,

You can delete records from employee master data by right clicking on respective Employee record & choose remove.

If you want to delete bulk records, then you can do it using 'Master Data Removal Wizard'

Hi,

It is not an external tool. Its available from 9.0 version. To perform, you can download "How to clean and perform master data cleanup " guide from SAP Business one customer portal.

Cant Remove employee from employee master Data , it shows an error message that "employee is the owner of a marketing document AR INVOICE".Please help

Kindly check if the said employee has a record at the AR Invoice thats why

it cant be deleted.

Hi,

If transactions (AR invoice) posted to an employee, it is not possible to delete employee master data.

This is standard system design.

Hi Nabil Rashid...

You cant delete the employee if you have used them in the marketing documents it is standard behaviour ...

You can make the Employee as InActive in case if you required is the only way
