Hi Naresh,
Kindly check the doc below.
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-46759
Also, as you are saying reports are working fine on Dev env and not on prod.It can be an application authorization issue , kindly check in CMC (Applications) that your user has needed access or not.
You are using SAP BI 4.0 , you will be able to see dashboard on IPad2 not on iphone or Android machines.
Please let me know if you are able to see dashboards on ipad or not.
Regards,
Javed

Hi,
It is recommended to use ipad 4 but its not that we can't view dashboards on ipad 2. In our project we are using ipad 2 and are able to see dashboards on it.The only issue is if report is very complex and having to many compenents it gives error.
check authorization and try creating webi for ipad. What is our source for dashboard? Is it universe? As u said its not bex query but in 4.0 only BICS connection supported for ipad.. Please let us kw source of your dashboard..
Regards
Shabnam
Thanks Javed for Link, I will go through step by step and check. I am testing with 2 devices "IPAD2" and "Android".
From the blogs came to know that Reports not supporting Android Devices. I will test with IPAD 2 Devices...
In IPAD2 Device, I am able to view Dashboard report Icons, when i tap on the report it gives an Error. Attached snap shot FYI..
Hi Naresh,
As per the error description "There are connectivity issues between the Mobile server and the CMS (BI platform server)" there is some issue between your Mobile server and CMS.
Try configuring mobile server once:
If it’s a fresh installation of SAP BO version SP05 and above this configuration is not needed. If you are upgrading the SAP BO from lower version (<SP 05) to above, please perform the below operation to make sure that your SAP BO Mobile server is running fine.
Note: If you are not able to find the above files in the above given location perform a search on the drive as sometimes .war files are located in some other location.
Regards,
Javed
Thank You Atul, Shabnam, Javed for all your support and guidance to achieve this closure...I have posted new thread for Date selection compatibility in IPAD for dashboard. please assist

HI Naresh,
As you are able to connect to your BO server, the connectivity should not be a problem
however, if unable to access documents, check if you can do with Administrator login?
Also, is it with specific documents only? like dashboards or webi ? etc
Which version of Mobile BI app are you using?
check the version with the url on your client machine
http://servername:8080/MobileBIService/MessageHandlerServlet?message=GetVersion
Compare the output with your BO server version. ( CMC>settings)
they should be same

HI Naresh,
a little more information than that is required
tell me the full version 14.0.x.x
you should be seeing such, when you run the url
also, compare the same with your BO server version as mentioned above
I see you only have dashboards.
can you test with any sample webi report as well.
make sure, the dashboards have been saved for mobile view from the dasboard designer tool
if they dont match.
we will redeploy the MobileBIService war file again

Atul B
Hi Naresh,
You are on SAP BI 4.0? then your dashboard is using bex queries as source? Please check your id has full authorization in production.
Is your enterprise id mapped to any sap prd id, if yes please check authorization for sap id aswell. If same sap id can run the backend bex query through RSRT.
You are replying to Manish instead of Atul.. Atual has replied to your posts

HI Naresh,
Open those dashboards in dashboard design tool and check if they open fine
check them using mobile compatibility browser and check the issue
Publish them and check if they open fine outside the IPAD
also, as i mentioned, you need to check with a webi report as well.
If the webi report is working fine or not?
to view the webi report, you will have to add it to Mobile and MobileDesigned category under CMC
these categories will not be present by default, so create them

Atul B
Hi Atul,
Yes, In Dashboard Design tool report opens fine., will create webireport today and i will test.
One more info :
In IPAD, Report Documents are showing, when i Tap on Any 1 report Doc, it throws error
In Android: No Documents are showing,
Android Tab : Ver 4.0
Both above scenarios are for Production connections.
HI Naresh,
Dashboards on androids wont be visible, as it will need BI 4.1 and above.
However, IOS should not give a problem
Let me know if the dashboard design tool is on the exact same version as that of your BO server.
Also, creating a report, would give an idea regarding the connectivity.
check if all your Servers are up and running ( mainly IFRS and OFRS )

Atul B
Hi Naresh,
Are you using ipad 2 for viewing dashboards? Is this error random or you get this error every time while opening dashboard through BI app?
If this error is random and you are using ipad 2 which lower ram please try to kill all other applications running on ipad and try opening your dashboard. It is recommended to use ipad 4 for viewing dashboards.

Hi Naresh
You can also test using a small dashboard or webi report for ipad. Try creating a dashboard with chart or scorecard using excel data. Save it for mobile platform. And try to open it on ipad.
If you are able to view simple dashboad on ipad it means it can complexity
issue also.
As suggested by Atul you can try redeploying Mobilerar file if this doesn't work.

Shabnam
