Accounting validation for making doc ref field mandatory

Dear expert,

I need a validation for T code F-43, FB60, MIRO making Doc header reference field mandatory:-

Prerequisite :-

BKPF-BLART = 'KR' AND SYST-TCODE = 'FB01'

Check:-

BKPF-XBLNR <> ''

Message:- Error

But above validation is not working

Can anybody advise.

Hi Alok

Check the tcode OBA7,

section "required during document entry"

Tick the "Reference number", it will mark the field as mandatory for all the tcode and document type KR

Select - Reference No. - Check Box in Doc. Type Configuration for making it mandatory rather than validation.

If it is certain document types,you do select check box in OBA7 settings as mandatory.
