Upgrade phase Preprocessing SHADOW_IMPORT_INC aborted

Hello all,

I am patch CRM7.0 EPH1 to EPH2  to sp14 using SUM.

I am getting error at Upgrade phase "SHADOW_IMPORT_INC".

Detected the following errors due to error summary in SHDALLIMP.ELG:

HI Reza ,

I dont think you will be able to apply the note through Snote .Can you please try to apply the note manually

If need you can unlock the system that is not an issue using the tp command.

For sure you need to unlock the system and the repository to apply an SNOTE during an upgrade.

What do you see in the work directory of the upgrade.

Hi,

Can you also check that there is free space in the database.

Also check what happens when you retry it. Please also port the tp and the r3trans version and the kernel in the upgrade directory

Also could you provide the latest logs from the /upgrade_directory/abap/log ?

I could not unlock shadow instance I got this massage.

C:\rez\sum_08\SUM\abap\bin>SAPup unlockshd CRD Enter

the path of your root

directory [C:\rez\sum_08\SUM\abap]: Root

directory = At this time of the

procedure, the shadow instance does

not exist anymore since you are passed

phase STOP_SHDI_*! .

I solve this problem with :

From SQL server.

select * from "TFDIR~" where funcname='ITL_NF_NUMBER_CONDENSE'

* then

took a backup of this table with database tools!

* delete from TFDIR~ (TFDIR tilde)  where funcname='L_NF_NUMBER_CONDENSE'

Now I can continue my process

Scenario: Solution Manager 7.1 upgrade to Stack 11 after initial setup.

Note 410128 - Function does not fit into the existing function group

Note 199619 - Function module does not fit in function group

Download a latest R3trans,tp or kernel and try again.

What is the sum tool you are using.

what kernel path you are at.

Is the correct note.

But I am patching CRM by using SUM Tool and I am in preprocessing phase. I cannot  change any software component is EPS/IN .
