SAP annual maintenance contract

Could anyone help me and explain me about the consequences of not renewing the AMC contract of SAP.

Hi guys,

I have a client who won't pay annual maintenance contract with SAP, however, in terms of security patches someone commented as opposed to what I had thought before that it would be possible to obtain that security patches even after expiring AMC.

Can you all confirm if this above is true or not?

If you are not paying money to sap for annual maintenance contract. You wont get any support from sap. Also follow

Hello,

As a direct consequence, you no longer have access to SAP Support Portal resources : impossible to download SAP Notes, Support Packages and Enhancement Packages, not even legal changes.

And of course not possible to report product errors.
