VAT registration number in customer master data general data -> control data an i want to use it for Egypt so i want to insert new format for this field

Hi,

This is a standard field of KNA1-STCEG also table KNAS-STCEG (if you want to use other as well).

VAT Registration Number (STCEG) is a Character field of Length 20.

You want what type of format, are trying to say system will validate some format which user will input in the VAT Registration Number (STCEG) field.

Kindly check whether below IMG Path is useful:

SPRO - SAP NetWeaver - General Settings - Set Countries - Set Country-Specific Checks - Select EG - Egypt.

Here under Formal Checks there is a option for VAT Registration No. where you can set the Lenth og VAT Number & respective rules.
