Hello Gurus,

I am trying to log on to Office Analysis. I see the below error/warning and could not log on. This was working fine until recently.

Any thoughts and suggestions to try out ? URL is correct

Thanks

Hi Ramesh,

We have experienced the same issue and in our case, the following solution worked.

Apparently, the "BI Add-on for Analysis for Office" and "BI Add-on for Design Studio" shared the same product key ( For Analysis for Office version prior to 1.4 SP7 ) and installing / uninstalling Analysis for office BIP Add-on conflicts with installing / uninstalling Design Studio Add-on.

So, We had to first uninstall the BIP Add-on for Analysis for Office. Then install the BIP Add-on for Analysis for Office ( >= 1.4 SP7 ) separately followed by installation of BIP Add-on for Design Studio.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Sravan.

Hi Ramesh,

Try using the fully qulified domanin

For example http://ustrlxqo2db80.[yourDomain]:8080/dswsbobje/services/Session

Instead of using the fully qualified name you could add an entry in your host file that is located in the following directory on windows

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Thanks Bharath and Michael

Nothing worked.

Basis restored the BOE to that of prior week and it works fine

Is it working fine for other users with same link?

If yes you can give it a try by re-installing and backing up and deleting after deinstallation:

%USERPROFILE%\Analysis-config

%USERPROFILE%\Analysis-workspace

Thanks Tammy and Victor

The URL is correct.

It is not working for anyone.

It used to work few days before .Not sure what might have changed on the BOBJ server side

Hi Ramesh,

Try to execute the following url in browser.

http://ustrlxqo2db80:8080/

If it doesn't work then the issue is with the BOE server itself. The server may be down or not reachable.

Bharath

Is the URL correct for the BI platform?

Perhaps ask your BI administrator if the BI platform is running
