Problems with the view when using GUI for HTML

Former Member

An odd one this, I'm hoping someone has seen this behavior before.

I've attached 2 screen shots as it will show the problem better than I could describe it.

The same transaction (MD04), the same Material, the first screen shot is GUI for Windows, the second is GUI for HTML using a Web Browser.

It's not just this transaction, CS03 (for example) does the same.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Paul,

I'm also facing the same issue for transaction CS03. Could you please let me know what is the solution given by SAP or how you resolved it? Thanks!!!

Hello Paul,

What BASIS and Kernel version is your Netweaver on?

It is a Table control or ALV grid that is being used? Difficult to make out from the cropped screen capture.

Hi Oisin,

Thanks for the reply.

BASIS is Release 700 Level 27.

Kernel is Release 7.20 patch level 400.

I believe it is a Table Control.

Many thanks.

Hi Paul,

Since when have you noticed the issue? After applying a BASIS Support Pack?

Since you are using the BASIS 700 support pack 27 then review the following WIKI:

How to check the publishing Date of an Internet Service

We have never used GUI for HTML / ITS before so I couldn't say whether a Support Pack has caused this problem.

However, I checked your WIKI and found that the last Support Pack was, coincidentally, applied on the same day as the WEBGUI service was published.

I have re-published the service, just in case.

Behavior persists however.

Hi Paul,

Have you also checked the service: SYSTEM

I.E that it has been published?

If that does not apply - would either upgrade the Kernel or open an incident with SAP via the Service Marketplace.

Oisin
