Issue with STMS

Hi Experts,

I have a 3 system landscape with PRD as my Domain Controller. SAP is R/3 4.7 on Windows 2003 with Oracle 9i as database.

When I release any TR from DEV system, it does reach QA import queue but until I press the zig-zag button the data and co files are not adjusted.

But the strange thing is after importing in QA system it doesn't not reach PRD import queue. I have to manually copy the data and cofiles into the respective directories of PRD and then I can add the request to PRD import queue.

I have check the sharing of trans directory and it's shared and accessible to all servers.

When I check SAPTRANSHOST it's pointing to DEV host in QA and DEV but for PRD it's pointing to it's own host. How to correct this?

Also DIR_TRANS for each system is pointing to it's own transport directory. When I try to add and change the parameter value via RZ10 it says "Parameter value not permitted, \directory \dev-hostname\sapmt\trans does not exist"

Please help.

Regards,

Sourabh Majumdar

hello Sourabh,

Did you try to manualy get it to transport queue using :

- from STMS ---> extras tap --> other requests ---> add

then add the TR number and the client.

Hi Soarabh

logon to the domain controller

go to STMS -> SYSTEM OVERVIEW

and double click on the PRD system , go to TRANSPORT TOOL and make the changes there

also you need to point it to the FQDN

\\hostname.domain.name\share\name

change the profiles at the OS and restart the system (DIR_TRANS)

Best Regards
