Dear Guru's,

At the movement we are about to handle the production system to business people. Right now what all the following procedures should be taken and what all the processes should be followed and how to do regular monitoring the production system.

Good suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

Ensure all testing related to user authorisations are completed in test system(user should have only relevant authorisation). Check whether decimal notation is defined properly for all the user profiles. Insist on utilisation of user manual for every process to avoid mistakes by new users.

Regarding monitoring with reference to Planning, check for proper background job executions, check for runtime errors & exceptions in MRP run.

Hi Madhu,

- Before releasing check weather you are able to do transports from Quality to Production.

- Check weather you have configured outgoing and incoming mails properly(do test it).

- If there is need to print reports or bar-codes etc test weather printer is properly configured.

- do few things which my friend Jithin Mooliyil mentioned above.

Schedule DB backup jobs properly and monitor backup is finished success or not.

Monitor and manage Long Running Jobs & Reports Using SM37/SM50

Monitor Performance analysis,

Daily check st22 for dump
