Dia Agent Connect To system in solman 7.1 sp10

Dear All

New in solman 7.1 i have 3 system land scap all are on ABAP and AIX 5.3 and Oracle

I install DIA agen on New solman 7.1 sp10 Now i connect my abap system to DIA agen in solman second my RZ70 in all abap system are working fine and all data are send to solman 7.1 so please guide me in now how connect my system to DIA agent authometicall or any task need to done

Hi Nainesh,

Install the Diagnostic agent in all the managed system and connect to the solution manager.

Hi ,

Once installed the Diagnostic agent in the managed system , check in the agent adminstration of the solman system.

If the system is not shown , reset the Agent configuration in below point

• Go to the SMD Script folder (\usr\sap\DAA|SMDA97\script).
• Key in the following line modifying the hostname, port, user and password as necessary
• smdsetup managingconf hostname:"servername" port:"xxxxx" user:"smd_admin" pwd:"xxxx"

Now check the agent admin, will get the sysyem in the list.

Hi Nainesh,

Give the solman system detail in the cmd.

smdsetup managingconf hostname:"servername" port:"xxxxx" user:"smd_admin" pwd:"xxxx"

Hostname : solman system ip address or hostname

Port : 81<SCS> or 5XXXX ( check in SMICM)

Check the smd_admin user details in the system prepration step:1 ( solmna_setup)

for exp of development system

smdsetup managingconf hostname:" sapdevail"port 8100 user "smd_admin" pwd"sap12345"

and if this commad is ok then whic service(SICF) i will activat in my development system

and second my sp10 problem solved pl read my ans

Hi Nainesh,

Not required to active any service in the managed system.

All the service activated in the solution manager system, solman_setup -> Basic configuration -> step : 5 Automatc configuration ->Active service

Once cmd is executed in managed system , restart the Diagnostic agent and check the system appearing in the agent admin of solman system.

Hi Nainesh,

You have to install the Diagnostic agents on your satellite systems and then connect them to your solman

Then in:-

Managed System Configuration ->Assign Diagnostic Agent

you will be assigning the diagnostic agent.

If everything goes green then it should automatically populate everywhere agents list is there.

In my Solman Setup there no DEVlopment DIA show

What is the status of System preparation, basic configuration steps in solution manager configuration. Did you see the green status for all the steps. Esp 6.6 Connect Diagnostic agent in system preparation step (Please refer Help section).

Connect to solution manager

I belive that is version problem of Agent because when i install one of my window system ,which same version of solman agent then it connect automaticaly where in my development it 7.3 and in solman 7.10 and other system which connect it  also 7.10 so it may

Hi Nainesh,

I am not sure about version mismatch, but you can try uninstalling 7.3 in Development system and install 7.10 to conclude.
