Hi,
We currently run SAP B1 and are trying to figure out the best way to deal with design codes. We buy our thousands of designs in sheets[at times, we have multiple designs on one sheet to minimize cost] but, we issue them out as stickers/motifs that vary in size to various departments. What is the best way to track such items? Do we use codes for designs or sheets? Costing is a mess right now.
I just thought I'd post the temporary solution I've thought of for now.
We will basically be using the parent - child concept. Every shipment I have will most probably have different parent item codes. It is tedious but I really can't think of anything else for now. Do post if you can think of anything else.

Hi Varun,
I will suggest to create the BOM for the Design and Sheet.
Purchases the Same item and then run the Disassembly type of Production Order.
