Not able to login to CMC BO 4.1 SP2

Hi All,

I am not able to login to CMC in BO 4.1 SP2

I am getting the below error message.

Could not reach CMS 'QMSAPBOE01:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and

check for network issues. (FWM 20030)

Hi Raj,

See if below step helps you:

1. Update Host File entry with IP Address & FQDN on your machine from where you are accessing the link.

2. Also, update the same on BO Server.

3. Now, try logging in. If it fails try below:

4. On CMC Page in System Name, type IP Address (e.g.: xxx.xxx.xx.xx:6400) of BO Server instead of Host Name and try.

Did the addition of the Fully Qualified Domain Reference to by my local hosts and the BO servers hosts file and still failed to connect, getting the same error message.

I solved it.  The IFDT cannot use "@SERVERNAME.DOMAIN.COM", it only recognizes SERVERNAME.DOMAIN.COM, and put the "@" sign on the front of that string, after it  successfully makes that connection.

I have the exact same issue. Same error message when I try to connect to the CMS with the Information Design Tool.  I have the BO 4.1 SP02 on the new BO SERVER and on my laptop with Client Tools.

Has someone solved this issue?   We cannot continue to upgrade without being able to connect to our Universes and Connections.
