This is with regards to Oil and Gas Customer and we are using IDOC's to create PO referencing the Quantity contract.

When the IDOC is processed we get the error message as below.

"

Density cannot be zero. Enter a value greater than zero as density value

Message no. O3 055

Diagnosis

The density/relative density of a liquid product cannot be zero.

Procedure

Enter a valid density/relative density. Only the API gravity can have a value of zero. This message can be customized to appear as a warning, error or information message (Trans. O591)."

Can some body please suggest on this.

DDoes your document not have a density value.  As density is the ratio of mass and volume, there should never be a zero value.

Hi Amit,

O3defaults is the new tcode for maintaining defaults, earlier versions being O3C1

Hi Amit, I agree with Rahul, that o3defaults is the new tcode. however some place only activate o2defaults in test and in which case o3c1,2,3 would still be used instead of o3defaults..

Hi,

Please check whether the defaults have been maintained for the material with which you are trying to create a PO. If you want the density to come as default every time, you will either need to maintain Default values in tcode O3defaults or maintain density in material master at Oil view.
