My Paystubs- We don't want Payslip view in PDF format

Hi Folks,

Is it possible to view the Payslips in other format (say *.doc, *.docx, *.xml, *.html, etc) instead of PDF format for SAP Fiori- My Paystubs application? Actually, as we know that ADS works on JAVA stack & assume that we don't have the JAVA stack System in our environment & in that case, we would be getting below error while running SAP Fiori- My Paystubs application,

Error : /IWFND/CM_BEC/026RFC Error: ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionFault : SOAP(100102SOAP Framework err51FCD7E2ED22F102BD1F001E4F1DB06D

To get rid of this, either we need ADS running or a wayaround.... So I'm looking for a wayaround.

Any help will be very appreciable.

Hi Mahendra,

My Paystubs will not work without ADS,

You need to have ADS configured. Your PDF form has to be configured in the backend as well.

You payslip should open in PDF.

Does this apply to Fiori as well? Currently issue we are facing is, we are unable to view the paystub in mobile device but appears well on PC.

Hi Sridhar,

Check the SAP UI5 Library version. In addition to this, are you on 2G network? or 3G? or Wi-Fi?

Hi Sridhar,

What is the error you are getting in mobile.

Mobile is not using the PDF from the backend. It uses pdf.js.

Could you please update to the latest SP that is SP3.

Please implement the note below.

Hi Mahendra,

There are 3 collections for OData Paystub service.

+ Payslips

+ PDFPayslips

+ MergedPDFPayslips

Please check which collection is called in the standard and you can change the UI code for calling Payslips.

Troubleshooting steps helps for checking the OData. Please share your findings.
