Hi ,
I Have created Integrator source connection for Sybase Power Designer in CMC. I have seen three folders in the Information steward metadata management . Those are Change Lists,Closed Changed Lists, Library
If I click on any folder inside there is no information .
But I have already check in the models to the Sybase Power Designer repository .
Thanks & Regards,
Ramana.
Hi Ramana,
Has this issue been solved? We're struggling with a similar issue with replicating PD models to IS. Replication works fine when de PD repository does not contain any model, but as soon as one entity or table is added to a model, the replication hangs. The issue has been reported 4 weeks ago by SAP with high priority but no response.
The three empty folders desribed by you appear in IS.
The issue is described in: http://scn.sap.com/message/15193814#15193814
Thanks
Gijsbert

I need to see your log to figure out why the model isn't collected. You should see EMP_DB.

When you look in the Power Designer repository, where do you see the models you've checked into the repository. Are they checked in under those folders? (Change Lists, Closed Change Lists, and Library)?
If the models aren't under those folders, you won't see them listed under those folders in the Information Steward Explorer.
If you can see the models under the main page in the Information Steward explorer, they've been collected.

Hi ,
I have created the change lists in Sybase power designer .
Please find the below screenshot of object browser/change lists for reference.
But If I opened my Information Steward power Designer metadata , there are blank folders including change list. Is any other settings I have to to do get the change lists . There are 2 change lists in the repository 1000,1002 but why it is not coming .
Please help me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Ramana.
You don’t actually have models checked into a location we collect. You have models in changelists, which are pending approval. We can’t collect those. We only collect models that are approved and in the repository.
I also wanted to point out that you are working with conceptual data models. The only models that we fully collect are physical data modes. We only collect global information for conceptual and logical models.
Hi Cheryl Ehlman,
Thanks for your support .
This Time I have created the physical model.
Please find the below screenshots step by step .
1. I have created the physical model using reverse engineering .
2. I have created one more user SUBMITTER along with ADMIN and gave permissions as "FULL"
3. I have log in with SUBMITTER and created the change list .
4.I have submitted for approval .
5. I have log in with ADMIN user to approve the change list .
6. I have approved the change list with using user ADMIN.
7. Once I approved there is no change list in the repository.
8. I have logged into Information steward and checked the metadata management part . I can see the below thing .
When I checked the Change Lists , Closed Change Lists and Library folder were still empty.
Please suggest me how I can get the change list data in those folders.
Thanks & Regards,
Ramana.
