Polymers and Monomers in Substance Volume Tracking - Node missing in SPRO

Hi All,

The IMG Activity Specify Polymer Labeling and Monomer Composition is missing in our system.

I believe a business function is not activated in SFW5.

But I am unable to find out which business function is to be activated.

Can anybody help with this?

Also, can anybody please tell me since which version (Enhancement Pack) is this functionality of Polymer/monomer tracking available?

Regards,

Neeraj Agrawal

Hello Neeraj,

The following releases or Support Packages are prerequisites for the function Polymer Labeling and Monomer Composition:

  • EH&S in ERP 2005: Support Package 19
  • EH&S in ERP 6.0 Enhancement Pack 2: Support Package 9
  • EH&S in ERP 6.0 Enhancement Pack 3: Support Package 8
  • EH&S in ERP 6.0 Enhancement Pack 4: Support Package 9
  • EH&S in ERP 6.0 Enhancement Pack 5: Support Package 4

The described IMG is located under:

- Environment, Health and Safety

-- Product Safety

--- Substance Volume Tracking

---- Specify Polymer Labeling and Monomer Composition

In the following SAP note you can find further information regarding this funcationality:

1549255 - Substance volume tracking: Support for polymers and monomers

Hope it helps !

Raphael

Dear Neeraj

for this functionality you do not need to activate a "business function". As Raphael explained: it is supported by a Support Package or OSS note. SAP decided that this is a "legal requirement" and therefore it is shipped as OSS note as part of one Support Package. There are other important functions as well which have been added by OSS note; e.g. 3 year average, bonded ware house etc.

Some weeks ago I checked SAP Marketplace and a lot of new important OSS note have been set up. So it might be a good idea to use the recent SP version and add further OSS notes as well.
