Crstal Reports getting Crashed .

Hello All,

We are using Crystal Reports v11.0 in our application. Our users use Crystal Report to view reports in PDF form.

They usually open the reports for 250-300 times a day and our application which is web based is getting crashed.

Is there any solution for this?

Also we are using a dll named INTEROP.CRAXDRT.DLL. In the event logs it is showing that the error came up in this DLL.

Any help in this will be appreciated deeply.

What OS is the application running on?

Are you closing the report objects? E.g.; Set myReport = Nothing

An FYI:

I moved your query to the SAP Crystal Reports - Legacy SDKs  as you are using an old retired version of CR and SDK - the RDC. Please keep in mind that there will be no fixes, etc. Any help is "best effort" and you may have to update your application to the current CR version and SDK (.NET or Java).

Our current OS version is Windows Server 2003.

Yes we are setting the Object to Nothing. Will that make a difference?Shouldn't we be doing it?

You have to do it.

Now, you say you have CR 11.0. My recommendation would be to upgrade to CR XI R2 (11.5). See this blog on how to.
