System User for Communication between ECC and SRM

Hi

We currently have a system user that is defined in SRM. When a requisition is routed from ECC into SRM for sourcing the Requisition does not get created as a shopping cart , it fails and says:

The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not  defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP.

When this happens with a dialog user it normally occurs because the user is not in the org. Structure on ppoma_bbp. But with a system user that does not fall into the org. Structure how does one go about correcting the the attributes for the System user?

Hi,

In order to transfer ECC PR to SRM side, the RFC user must be integrated to SRM organization well.

This is a must step. You have to maintain this well.

Hi,

For PI user, please refer to part "Technical User for PI communication" in note 1263876.
Meanwhile the assigned organization should also be assigned under company.

Yes Sri we have this working.. check your PI user.. it should be under the org structure.

Go to Transaction BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE and repair relationship between BP

Hi Wesley,

We defined the system user into org structure and assigned it to dummy org unit / position since SRM4.  Our current implmentation is SRM7 classic scenario.
