Hi All,
Could anyone please explain the meaning of a sentence "More than one company code can be assigned to one or more controlling areas" and in which scenario it is possible? As per my understanding, Several company codes should use same controlling area and controlling area may includes one or more company codes.
Thank You,
Regards,

Hi Geetha,
The statement "More than one company code can be assigned to one or more controlling areas" clearly tells you can assign more than one company code to a single controlling area by maintaining
1. Same Chart of Accounts and
2. Fiscal year variant
in both company code and controlling area.

Hi geeta
One co code can be assigned only to one control area
More than one co code can be assigned to same control area if they share same chart of accounts and fiscal year variant
In short, relation of co code to controlling area can be N:1
