SAP FI certication from Atos Chennai, Is it worth?

Hi Everybody,

I am planning to register for 25 days Lecturer based SAP FI certification from ATOS Chennai. I am an MBA Finance graduate with over 6 years of work experience in Hotels and E commerce sector in Finance and Restaurant operations domain. Interested in changing to SAP career. Appreciate if you could clarify queries:

1. Is it worth to invest 3.7 lakhs for 25 days SAP training:

2. Is it practically possible to find Job in SAP domain after your certification? I have seen many people discussing about finding jobs after certification?

3. Atos Chennai are promising for scheduling Job interview after Certification, How true is it? Have anyone been placed immediately after SAP Certification?

4. Experienced Guys: Would you really advise me to take this risk of SAP certification and then look out for opening? or is there any other option available if i want to move to SAP domain?

     You are just taking a gamble, there are still many certified people without jobs, particularly true for SAP ECC modules.

2. Is it practically possible to find Job in SAP domain after your certification? I have seen many people discussing about finding jobs after certification?

It all depends on your skill, experience, education, certification etc. Please note SAP is NOT a job guarantee program.

3. Atos Chennai are promising for scheduling Job interview after Certification, How true is it? Have anyone been placed immediately after SAP Certification?

There is nothing like job guarantee, it is only job assistance. Particularly, SAP FI has become rotten egg with everybody trying for that.

The other option try an end user company, part of their internal team, gain exposure, then try outside.

Murali instead of focus on job & certification try to get domain knowledge engage with the community follow experts read all our mentor blogs .

Also why is it hard to find job after certification

SAP Certification is not a short cut to get a job .Our experts will assist you on this .

There are number of people struggling for getting job even after SAP Certification. In fact 90 % consultants are not certified.

Is there any particular sites where i can register myself or browse for SAP Fresher related Jobs?, I could understand that training institute would help in getting interviews but you cannot rely on them. Is their any specific job search website for SAP freshers?

Also why is it hard to find job after certification is it economic downturn or too many SAP certified professionals or it depends on Individual?

Hi Murali,

You can go ahead with training in Atos based on your financial condition. They will be providing good class room training from an experienced consultant.

They will be assisting you on finding job also by scheduling interviews. But no one can assure a job!!

Learn well.. you will get job based on knowledge, not on the money you are investing on training.

After the SAP certification when appearing for interviews, Will employers be looking for previous SAP experience or SAP certificate with good knowledge?

I could understand after any qualification individual has to market himself/herself to realize their dream, what i am really lookin is:

1. Is their any better SAP training institute other than Atos in Chennai/Bangalore/Ahmedabad that cost less? (Infact i enquired with Genovate ahmedabad they charge the same amount as Atos)

2. I am willing to to study SAP to enhance my skills and change career, Like after reading so many blogs it makes me scary, Will SAP certification will make u literally unemployable?
