Message server has been changed; to save all updates, choose OK - "ERROR"

Hi all,

we are facing the above mentioned status message PAGE4_STATUS_MSSERVER_UPDATED   255 "Message server has been changed; to save all updates, choose OK" if we open the properties of a/any system entry - BUT even if "OK" gets clicked and the SAP GUI / workstation gets started again, this message will not disappear. The connection to the regarding SAP system works fine, so this is only a optical error - but not nice for us!

File Version: 7300.2.4.1085

Build: 1419460

Patch Level: 4

Hotfix: 2

This is a cross-platform issue (XP / Win7 / Win8) and occurs on every workstation. We are providing central generated files (about once every second week) for the "saplogon.ini", "sapmsg.ini", "saproute.ini" and the "services" file - topic seems to be related to this fact.

Any hint to avoid this? Even the newest patch level "gui730_7-10010496.exe" does not help.

We are having the same problem, same GUI Version.

Did you find out in the mean time what the problem was ?

Dont't find anything helpful on SAP Portal searching in OSS notes.
