ESS overview config in FPM

Hi,

we are on EHP6, I have configured Additional personal data screen for US country on ESS overview using the below material.

when i am trying to open ESS overview on portal, instead of values the key is getting displayed on screen only for IT0077 as shown in screen shot.

Please help me if i have configured wrong structure/something else.

Hi Swapna,

Check in the configuration FPM_LIST_UIBB->HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_APDATA_CA(Component configuration)

Here check the attributes of the fields ,

Here check for the display type attribute for all the fields.

You have configured Key Column, see if there is any other column in info-type which has the text, most of the time there would be a column with text if not we need to see what would be the best way to retrieve, you might have to write the code.

Yes, I have verified that and Text is available for only primitive columns and the rest of the columns available as key only.

can you please guide to update require structure/program?

Also, does HRESS_C_PERSINFO_CONFIG and HRESS_CC_PER_CONFIG play any role while configuring it0077 for US on ess ovrview? beacause when i am trying to add configuration for US country in HRESS_CC_PER_CONFIG the new values are not getting saved but still the portal page is working fine.

Hi Swapna,

No need to create as this would be referring to the component configuration HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_APDATA_CA under the FPM_LIST_UIBB so do the changes here so that it would be reflected in the personnel profile.

Hi Swapna,

No need to change the structure change the attributes of the fields in the component configuration in HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_APDATA_CA and check whether the display type is text view as shown in the screen shot pasted in the last message.

Changing the display type witll give you either input filed to entry or text view to just diplay content.

my question was about the Ethnic Orgin is displaying as '07' but we want to show Ethnic origin as 'American' as shown in screen shot.

I am working on ZHRESS_CC_PER_DTL_ADDPER_US with feeder class parameters as shown in screen shot.

please do correct me if i am doing anything wrong.

Thats what i explained before please find the screen shot i understand that test is to be displayed so please follow the steps as i mentioned before. I think still you didn't get the point clearly so again i will explain  the steps,

Go to T.code SE80->FPM_LIST_UIBB->HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_APDATA_CA as shown below,
