PDF is NOT genrating/displayed in Portal

Hi,

In a WebDynpro Java application, "Generate PDF" button,

PDF is generatig & displayed in Sandbox whereas it is NOT working in DEvelopment.

Generate Portal is working in one Portal but NOT working in other.

Information:
1) WebDynpro application is same deployed in both Portals. Code is one & the same
2) Recently both the Portal systems where upgraded from Portal 7.0 to 7.30

How to troubleshoot this? Any soluton?

Hello NS

First and foremost i would strongly suggest to make sure that the ADS is configured in the DEV portal correctly. Use the information here: Performing Basic ADS Configuration in a Java Environment - Configuring Adobe Document Services for F...

If everything is configured appropriately on the server side i would suggest using fiddler Download Fiddler Web Debugging Tool for Free by Telerik and inspecting the http flow between your browser and the ADS.

I am testing the same Internet Explorer.

In same IE, sandbox is NOT working where in Development its NOT working.

Related to the Browser.

Check the browser settings.

Hi NS,

Can you please check following settings in IE

Internet Explorer( 7 or onward):-

Tools->Internet Option->Security

Internet->Custom Level->Downloads->Automatic prompting for filedownloads->Enable->OK

Trusted Sites->Custom Level->Downloads->Automatic prompting for filedownloads->Enable->OK
