Export Chart or Data in SAP BusinessObjects Explorer?

Dear Experts,

I am facing problem with export option in SAP BO Explorer 4.0.

The scenareo is:

Users can access all the required information and tabs in the solutions (Webi, Analysis and Explorer). I have checked the authorisations and I found out everything is in order. Users in one group have an issue only with Explorer.

The issue is that the Export chart or Data Button is not enabled, but in they got the authorisations to do all the exports.

Please advise me with any suggestions regarding this.

We have the same problem with BO 4.1. I can't login to the SAP site you gave. Can you tell me the solution?

Resolution

Grant the following rights for the affected users/groups:

1. Navigate to Central Management Console (CMC) ->
   Applications
2. Select Explorer application and click User Security
3. Select the Advanced tab and click
   Add/Remove rights
4. Select Application -> Explorer and
   grant the following rights:
   
   
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to
     Bookmark/Email
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to CSV
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to Image
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to Web
     Intelligence
5. Go to Folders select All folders->
   Manage -> Content -> Explorer
   Information space and grant the following rights:
   
   
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to
     Bookmark/Email
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to CSV
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to Image
   • Explore Information Spaces: Export to Web
     Intelligence

Thank you, it works. When i set the rights to all Folders, i can export again.
