Hello experts,

My system currently have an IDoc data records from the year 1995 until current date.

I need to find out if there is a way for us to purge the IDocs data from the year 1995 until 2013, regardless of the IDoc's status.

Any advice on this?

Regards,

Shakir

Use archiving Object IDOC to archive the IDOC's from the system, if you want to archive all the IDOC's from the system regardless of its status then use t code WE47 to change the Archiving status to 'POS' from 'Excluded'. This will help you to remove all the required IDOC's from the system.

Hi Manjunath,

Thank you for your reply.

So regarding the IDoc status, does it means that SARA will archive all of the entries regardless of the status when the Archiving status is set to "POS"?

And do you know if it is good to consider using RSETESTD?

--> Yes it will archive

And do you know if it is good to consider using RSETESTD?

--> I know it deletes the IDOC's but not sure whether it is recommended approach. Please refer to Deleting idocs with WE11 (RSETESTD) - ABAP Connectivity - SCN Wiki
