Dear Gurus,
One of the situation came in our client, say at the time of production order confirmation they are going with Goods Receipt & then they are going with by EOD Goods Issue which is completely reversal situation.
I would like to know what all the impacts and effects can be happen and what all the bottle neck situation will be there.
Thanks & Regards,
Madhu.G
Hi Madhu guntuboina,
If you run the MRP in between ( before GI) it will make a wrong planning since materials are not issued against production order. In your case, you have to do GI of material for the already produced material (through Production order).ATP qty also shows incorrect value. Please follow the standard process sequence. It will avoid inconsistencies.
Thanks

Hi Madhu,
Once the Goods receipt is completed, order status changes to DLV and stock is updated and the value of the goods will be price maintained in system * Stock Qty. But actual cost on the order will be less as consumption of material (Good issue) is not done. If some body does the settlement of the order at this point of time there will be huge variance.
Logically this is not correct. Once we are confirming in system that GR is completed required materials needs to be get issued because manuafcturing is completed by usage of some materials.
Based on your requirement raw materials stock will not reduce but finished product stock will increase and its value will increase but actual cost on the order will be in under costing till GI is completed.
