CPS 8.0 M33.85 compatible with ECC 6.0 EHP7

We are using CPS 8.0 M33.85 , we are planning to upgrade our ECC to EHP7.

Want to check whether our current CPS 8.0 M33.85 is compatible with EHP7? or do we need to upgrade our CPS too?

No relevant notes confirms this, hence writing to this forum.

Hi Senthil,

No, you don't have to upgrade your SAP CPS. SAP CPS talks to any ABAP system through the XBP 3.0 interface which is available in all the NW 7.3 ABAP stacks, so it shouldn't be a problem when you upgrade.

P.S: the latest CPS patch is M33.98 or something, it is always better to have the latest version as it contains a lot of bug fixes. So if your going to have a large outage window, i recommend updating CPS too, but that is optional and has nothing to do with the ECC EHP7 upgrade.
