In SAP BuseinessObjects Explorer empty cell value = 0

Hi Experts,

we are facing problem while calculating average in SAP BO Explorer 4.1.  I am trying to calculate average from local document in the SAP BO Explorer 4.1. But it take automatic 0 as value for empty cells.

Can somebody help us to solve this problem

Hi Aman,
since it's part of the data set it will be included in the calculation, it's not specific to Explorer, Webi behaves the same but you have more control in Webi.

You need to filter it out. To the Right of the Filter click the + sign to add a filter then click on Customer and select all the values to be included leaving the null records out.

Hi George,

thank you for the Hint. But i think in case of small data set it is possible to filter values. But if we have big data set than it is very time consuming process to filter all zero values. I do not know what to do in that case.
