SAS Connectivity to IDT

Hi,

I am facing problem with IDT connectivity SAS.

While creating connection at IDT, getting following error message while checking test connection.

com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'testSourceConnection1394461400282'] Connection to 'jdbc:sharenet://XXXXXXXX:8561' failed: Sharenet.S58.ex.txt: Sharenet.S279.ex.txt: Sharenet.S06.ex.txt: Userid/Password not accepted by server...

We have already performed the instruction mention in the sap note 1959018 - How to create relational connection to SAS from Information Design Tool

Can anyone help me out whether I am missing something to setup the connectivity.

Hi

Error message shows userid/ password not accepted by server...so please check whether are you able to access SAS system or not.

Issue has been resolved. For connecting to SAS we need to have license for SAS SHARE.

After we were able to connect from IDT as well as from BO data services.
