Hello Martin, you posted the link to the old document from 2013.

You could install the SAP liveCache on MAXDB or SAP liveCache on HANA.

As I already wrote, SAP liveCache on SAP HANA is supported as well.

Review the document at

Where can I find more information about SCM powered by HANA?

=> There is also an entire page dedicated to SAP SCM on HANA in our sister Suite on HANA FAQ.

https://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-59899

Review the SAP note for SCM 7.13 (EHP 3 for SAP SCM 7.0) or higher:

Hello,

SAP liveCache on SAP HANA is released for the customers as well, see at p. 58

http://help.sap.com/hana/SAP_HANA_Technical_Operations_Manual_en.pdf,

Also, as you know, the SAP liveCache technology is an object-based enhancement of the SAP MaxDB database system and was developed to manage complex objects.

REference to the MAXDB library for the additional information:

liveCache (SAP liveCache Technology) - Glossary - SAP Library

Hi Krishna,

Livecache is designed to work with MaxDB database only. It cannot run on any other database.

Hope this helps.
