Hi,
in our scenario, we use responsibilities in HR-PD (object type RY) for different purposes to get some kind of actor (sometimes in workflow, sometimes in different areas). We assign them to the positions. When PPOM is run, we see the structure position->resposibility, which is working fine.
What we would like to change is the detail screen of the responsibility shown so that the user sees everything (parameters, or in this case, characteristics) from the responsibility according to it's "type". Every responsibility belongs to a certain rule, which has got it's own container defining what characteristics can be evaluated for the specific responsibility. As those characteristics differ very much, it is not convenient to show the user the default responsibility screen. In our environment, the detail screen of the responsibility does not show even the short text and the description (SHORT, STEXT) - fields are empty.
Can anybody suggest, how could we implement customer-specific screen(s) for the responsibility? Or kick me to the topic somewhere, as I did not find anything suitable.
Hi Jozef,
You will need to run by enhancement for your OM infotype using PPCI transaction.
You will need to reach out to development ABAP person for assistance and your requirement and the person can do some coding for you.
Thanks,
Ameet

Hello Ameet, thanks for your time.
In fact, I am the ABAP-er (and also all other functions included :D) in this scenario. Should I put this question to the ABAP forum? I do not have problems with enhancements and / or other changes in the system. But when we are talking about PPOM, we do not simply talk about the infotypes (PPCI), or do we? Responsibilities have their data in infotypes 1000, 1240, 1218. Once the user selects the responsiblity in PPOM, I'm not sure, which infotype should be called / how to create those enhancements for this particular object.
