Additive Manufacturing process

Hello All Experts,

We have an requirement i.e  We are doing sub-contracting process here let me explain the scenario.

1. We have part number which is assembled with some 2 to 3 components. for example we can say A as part 1 and B C D are attached to part A.

with some laser operation with some powder.

2. Now this assembled part is going for sub con process assume some wire cutting operation there are doing for dis assemble all the parts .

3 The same A part will come back with B C and D to plant from vendor.as disassembled parts.

4. How this can be mapped in SAP system.

5. I have tested with concept of CO-product and By- product also but no correct soln to me.

Hi,

Try this way:

1. Create production BOM for part A

2. Create standard production process for Part A and complete assembly process

3. Create Purchase order for Part A to send this item for laser process

4. Create disassembly production order and complete process. Components stock are increased automatically with decreasing of part A.

Hi Vishal

You should take a look at our manufacturing solution. This is a work order with external manufacturing and several semi-finished products. Not only the quantities but also the costs should be handled correctly (incl. WIP).
