liveCache Installation on HANA

Hi,

We are testing migration of SCM to SCM on HANA with integrated LiveCache in our lab box & now migrating

external LiveCache to Integrated LiveCahce migration. We have done all the steps upto step 5 as specified in the note 1825703. Not able to validate step number 6. We dont see APS_ORDER_GET_DATA under "Catalog => Public Synonyms" in the SAP HANA Studio and also we dont see role AFL__SYS_AFL_LCAPPS_EXECUTE. The LC installation step number 5 completed successfully without any error. The HANA DB connection (created in step 4) from DBACOCKPIT is working fine LCA,LDA and LEA.

Thanks

Vipin

Hello Vipin,

Did you install SAP HANA LCApps on the HANA server? Please review SAP note 1810952.

See http://help.sap.com/hana/SAP_HANA_Server_Installation_Guide_en.pdf, search for "LCApps".

Regards, Natalia Khlopina

Natalia,

Yes,  HANA LC Apps was instaleld once Via the command line and another time through Lifecycle manager and we didnt see any errors. Have reviewed the installation & update guide as well and steps were performed as per that.

Also referred to the note # 1871831 - Installation of SCM 703 on HANA with integrated liveCache.

When I execute the Tx : LCA03 to perform livecache test, it dumps with exception "CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR" and text as "Object does not exist on the database"

Error details

----------------------

You used the name of an object (table, view, index, etc.) that is not

present on the database.

The error occurred in the current database connection "DEFAULT".

An exception has occurred which is explained in more detail below. The

exception is assigned to class 'CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR' and was not caught in

procedure

"LCA_TRACELEVEL_GET_ALL" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING

clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated this

exception, the current program was terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

Triggering SQL statement: "EXECUTE PROCEDURE "APS_TRACELEVEL_GET_ALL""

Error code in database: "328"

Thanks
