Guys,

The report has only few records on BW BEX query but its taking very longer time besides its also throwing timeout error after opening report within few seconds. (your session timed out, close the java interface and log on again)

Please advise me to do take necessary actions to improve and in order to suppress java/time out errors.

Hi,

Please make sure the the user has view right on Web Intelligence Application :

  • Log on to CMC
  • Go to Applications -> Web Intelligence
  • Go to User Security tab -> Add Principals -> Add the problematic user
in the list -> Add and Assign Security.
  • From the Acess Levels, Grant the Right "View on Demand".

Hello KK,

Please answer below:

  1. What version JRE are you using? Please confirm if it got updated.
  2. Is it behaving same if we run it in Web Intelligence Rich Client?
  3. What if you run the same report on any other client machine?
  4. Is it happening specific with this report or all the report?

Mahesh

Try to run that Query in RSRT  & Refresh again in WEBI & check once.

In RSRT  Read Mode should be  X : query to read data during navigation.
