Exception In Component workbench configuration Page for Z VIEW.

Basically we are facing two types of Dump in SAP CRM Lead Component

system.

1. We are getting Dump while pressing configuration button in the

component workbench for Z View. i got he below Error.

Business Server Page (BSP) error What happened? Calling the BSP page was terminated due to an error.

SAP Note The following error text was processed in the system: An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause

Exception Class CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL Error Name Program CL_AXT_PLACE_HANDLER==========CP Include CL_AXT_PLACE_HANDLER==========CM009 ABAP Class CL_AXT_PLACE_HANDLER Method IF_AXT_UI_CONTEXT_NODE_HANDLER~GET_V Line 170 Long text An attempt was made to execute a dynamic method callon an initial(NULL-) object reference. The reference must refer to an object.

I attached the screen shot of the same for your perusal.

2. We are facing below dump when we try to show configuration area

in the WEB UI screen.

I am getting the below Error message in internet Explorer screen.

500 SAP Internal Server Error

ERROR: Dereferencing the NULL reference (termination: RABAX_STATE)

I am getting the below dump in the back end SAP system.

Exception 'CX_BSP_WD_EXC_WRAPPER' was raised, but it was not caught

anywhere

Along the call hierarchy.

Since exceptions represent error situations, and this error was not

Adequately responded to, ABAP program

'CL_BSP_WD_ERROR_PAGE_WRITER===CP'

had to be terminated.

Steps by step procedure for two scenario.

Step by step procedure to replicate First scenario.

Step1: open component work bench with the component  BT108H_LEA.
Step2: select view ZCONTRACTDAT as mention in the screen shot.
Step3: Please select Configuration TAB.

Step by step procedure to replicate Second WEB UI Dump.

Step1: Open SAP CAD WEBUI screen.
Step2: select BP Marketing manager Role.
Step3: Navigate to Lead search screen through Marketing Navigation bar profile.
Step4: please provide Sales Org ID O 50000283(MEAN CRC)
Step5: Pick any one lead from the search result.
Step6: press tool bar button show configurable area and select Finance
contract lead.

Note: We newly changed the system from SAP CRM 7.0 EP2 to EP3.

How i can over come this dump issue.

Hi All,

I got the answer, this happens if some AET fields are created partially.

Please go to AXT_RUN_FIELDUSE and delete that partial creation of AET if not used. Also delete from the structure , adjust and activate corresponding DB table.
