ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR occurs in connection test (ByDesign)

Hi.

I'm trying to send purchasing data from SAP Business Bydesign to OnPremise SAP ERP.

However, the message, ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR occurs when test the connection in the menu of Communication Arrangement.

As SSL client certificate setting, I chose Business Partner Key and imported the downloaded key into the folder Client Anonymous by STRUST.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem ?

Error logs in SMICM are follow,

Thr 4204] SecudeSSL_SessionStart: SSL_accept() failed

Thr 4204]   secude_error 536875074 (0x20001042) = "received a fatal SSLv3 bad certificate alert message from the peer"

Thr 4204] >>            Begin of Secude-SSL Errorstack            >>

Thr 4204] WARNING in ssl3_read_bytes: (536875074/0x20001042) received a fatal SSLv3 bad certificate alert message from the peer #

Thr 4204] <<            End of Secude-SSL Errorstack

Thanks and Regards,

Yuki

We had a similar issue while setting up the connection. You need to install both GTE certificates and afterwards restart the ICM (TA SMICM) - otherwise the certificates are not being used correctly.

Hello Yuki,

The error ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR is usually due to a certificate error. Please check the ICM trace on your ERP.

However you can go through the SAP Note:1318906 - Trace analysis of SSL problems for your reference.

This should help you.

Sincerely,
