Published ASNs not seen in SNC

Hi,

We have an issue where the Published ASNs are not seen in the ASN Overview report in SNC. Supplier indicated they created an ASN and ASN number was generated for it. Upon Investigation, the ASN number provided by the supplier did not show up in SNC. There was no XML found for ASN and there were no signs of the ASN number in the header table. There are also no logs found for user in SLG1 and no short dumps found as well. I could not replicate the same issue in Quality.

Has anybody come across this sort of issue? Request your inputs in finding the reasons why the ASN number was generated and published but went missing in SNC.

Thank you.

Hi Sridhar/Guru,

Adding few more points to consider ..

There might be chances to have the ASN cancelled by supplier after publishing it right away. You will no more see ASN if its cancelled in SNC by supplier.

You can also trace the ASN log on the backend ERP - ECC, Check for the IDOC at the time of creating ASN. If still can't get clue, ask the steps followed by supplier to replicate the scenario. If the ASN was just saved by supplier without publishing, you can able to see the status of ASN in "Draft" under ASN Menu.

Any suggestions, Please let me know.

Looks like he has created ASN but not published it, hence could not trace the XML..

Regarding ASN no, he could have created in One BP and Referring to ASN no in other BP... This Is standard process, please look into above points.

Hi Sreedhar,

Can you check what master data is valid or not?

There can be some issue and hence system is not publishing ASN.

How supplier is creating ASN.(try to get detail level steps for ASN creation)

This will help you to replicate the issue in Q system.
