Cannot view explorer home page

I am trying to login the explorere using Firefox latest version, after login, i see blank page, home page does not show up.

Explorer version 4.0 SP5

I have flash player 12, Windows7.

But it works with IE 9.

Did anyone see this issue?

Jawahar,

     If Explorer works fine using IE 9 the your back-ed is working fine.   Looks like you an issues with Flash plugin on Firefox, test that the plugin has been installed properly.

Ajay Thanks for the info.

I ran the plugin check. Flashplayer seemed to be installed correctly. And it says uptodate.

We have explorer in BO 3.1 Environment, Explorer version 3.2 and SP3, it works fine in Firefox.

      I have access to several builds and it works fine, tried FireFox v 26 with:

• BI 4.0 w/ Patch 5
• BI 4.0 w/ SP6
• BI 4.1 w/ SP2
• Polestar XI 3.2 w/ SP4

The problem could with FireFox v 27, we had issue and had to down grade to v26.

What is the exact error ? Please attach screenshot.

I get the blank screen, after login. As suggested in below link, when i right click on the page and 'Play', it showed up the home page.

But i am going to try the suggestion by George, and let you know the outcome.

go to: ~\tomcat\webapps\explorer\WEB-INF\classes\default.settings.properties

set:

disable.compression.filter=true

Restart Tomcat.

Hi,

We have BI 4.0 SP9 FP4 installed and we are trying to install the BO 4.0 explorer on that. Do we have to follow any priority first to install BI 4.0 sp4 then some thing like that. We are getting logon denied could not parse xml when we try to logon the application. BTW we are on Linux environment
