Hi Experts,
What is the standard execution criteria of Free form search in Data manager/syndicator.if we give mutiple conditions in free form search which will execute first?::
Eg1: First If i give some Expression() in free form search { eg: for searching two Cust id="0001" and Cust id="0002" } and later if you give another condition in some field(eg: country = US) which condition will execute first on what basis the search will work?
Any input will be appreciable.
Br,
Raja.
Dear Raja,
Free form search in NW MDM work with AND condition so in your case if you give some criteria in expression it will be executed first and say it is satisfied by 100 records out of total 1000 records, then when you give another condition like country =US search will be performed with in 100 records,so those recors which satisfies both first and second condition will be displayed.

Hi Raja,
As Vaibhav correctly pointed out,the multiple search conditions are treated as AND gate.
The resultset shows the data for which each of the conditions are obeyed.Under such a scenario, order of putting filters does not matter as all conditions will have to be obeyed.(AND gate)
Thanks,
Ravi
