Reference Characteristics not display description

Hello,

When using characteristic reference to a table in dictionary, system display only the code, however, foe my expectations, the system should display the description.

For example:

I classified Equipment with character that reference to table-field  TCJ04-VERNA.

FIelds in TCJ04 are:

- VERNR (p.key) - person responsible number

- VERNA - person responsible name

- S_USRNAM - office user (this field is empty)

VERNR       VERNA            S_USRNAM

------------      ------------         ----------------------

0002         Martin Toralbo

0010         Lionel Messi

0020         Cristian Herera

If I use characteristic for Equipment and I choose from match code [0010  Lionel Messi] then I cann see only the number (code).

Res.person:   0010  

If I define values not with reference table then description are shown by the system.

Res.person:   Lionel Messi   

However, I want to use values from a dictionary table.

Does anyone have a soloution for this problem?

Hello Nir,

I am bit confused, as system displays the values you have. are you using ref characteristic in classification or in variant configuration ?

Can you please provide more details. If possible a screen shot ?

I am using ref characteristic in classification. unfortunately I cannot provide a screen shot becouse of a classified reasons.
