Hi Experts,
I downloaded Eclipse IDE for Java Developers Version: Juno Service Release 2
and tried to install ADT 2.7 downloaded from Service Market Place but installation in Eclipse fails. Does anyone know what to do?
Error Message is:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: ABAP Connectivity and Integration Development Tools 1.0.4 (com.sap.adt.pitools.tlf.feature.group 1.0.4) Missing requirement: ABAP Connectivity and Integration Development Tools 1.0.4 (com.sap.adt.pitools.tlf.feature.group 1.0.4) requires 'org.eclipse.emf.query.feature.group [1.5.0,2.0.0)' but it could not be found
I also tried with Indigo version of eclipse but it always fails.
Is there a version on market place with preinstalled adt eclipse ?
Thanks and regards,

Hi Thomas,
is it allowed to create productive software with the versions mentioned by you? And are these versions full versions without restrictions?
Thanks and regards,
Mehmet

Hi Mehmet,
instead of downloading ADT from the service marketplace install it using the available update site. For a detailed description of the approach take a look here: SAP Development Tools for Eclipse
Using the the update site all the necessary dependencies are resolved automatically and the installation should work immediately. Note, however, that you might need to configure the proxy eclipse need to use to contact the update site.
Best,
Christian

Hi Mehmet,
please install the latest eclipse version Kepler from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads
and then use the updatesite https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/kepler to install the ABAP Tools.
As Christian already said it is much more easy than installing via the SMP site.
Please be aware that you have to adopt the user roles in the backend in order to use the Eclipsetools. Check this blog for the details:

Have fun with ABAP in Eclipse!
Regards,
Thomas.
