repRepair - Will it restart repository?

Hi All,

In SAP help for the repRepair- following info provided. It does not specify whether during repair repository will be down. Please enlighten me with this informaiton.

CLIX repRepair MdsHostSpec RepositorySpec Credentials [-O] [-E1 | -E2] [-N] [-D]

Verify and repair an MDM repository. It returns an error if any fatal errors remain. If –E1 or –E2 is provided, an error is returned if there are any non-fatal errors or warnings remaining, respectively.

Hi All,

I figured out the answer self, repRepair clix command requires repository to be stopped. Hence I am using repStop and then trigger repair.
