EIC - emails

Experts, I have a simple question around the functionality of EIC. Hope you can help out.

If I choose to send emails from EIC, where would I see the sent emails again.

e.g. I sent acknowledgement email from EIC. If I go back to the ticket, how do I know that an email has already been sent? Or where can I go and access what email was sent to the caller?

If you have set everything up properly you will see it as an additional contact on the case in SAP ERP EIC.

Hi Jarret. Thank you for your prompt response. Can we just use the outgoing email functionality without configuring the incoming?

Yes although every one of the 12 EIC implementations I have been part of have used both.
