Dear All,
Please find the below link to store DMS files in filesystem level.
I am unable to find how he customized to save the files in file system other than database in the above link.
Please suggest me is the above link really helps to save the files in file system.
1) Where to set the parameter ? filesystemserver.dll
2) where to create directory in filesystem ?
3) How to set permissions ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Harsha.
Unfortunately your request is not clear. You need to provide more details as to what configuration you are referring here and your present system setup. If you are not clear with the thread then you need to suggest which part is not clear for you.
Note: Do not create multiple threads for an issue.

Hi Sir,
The configuration Details we are using in sap:
Os : Linux (6.2) (/ , root, oracle, usr, opt, tmp)
Database : oracle (11.2.0.3)
Patch : KB731006 and KA731006
Kernel :720
EASY DMS Project:
Software : Easydms_sp04 (Installed successfully in windows XP)
Only thing is files saving in database. I want to save my files in filesystem.
The filesystem in linux is with ( / , root, oracle, usr, opt, tmp ) . The above threads belong to maxdb.
These are my complete configuration details. Is there any threads belongs to configure the files on linux filesystem.
Thanks in advance, Regards,
Harsha.
You need to install Content Server without the MaxDB.
Create a repository in TX CSADMIN and use FileSystemStorage.dll for storage.
Read the part "Installation withoutSAP DB" of this SAP note
612463 - SAP Content Server 6.30 installation (Windows)

Hi Harsha,
In order to install the content server you must set up a web server compatible with Sap CS 640. You can install apache 2.2 or IIS for windows deployments.
At installation guide you can find more details.
This is the reason because the sapinst is prompint tata the user that you use for content server dont have the binaries path updated.
Cheers
Hi Eswara,
Refer to configuration steps in the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1357444
Hope this helps.
